AI and the Challenge of Human Cooperation

Join the Mathematical Institute in-person or online on Thursday 16th May from 5pm to hear from Professor Matthew Botvinick – Director of Neuroscience Research, DeepMind – on the topic of AI and the Challenge of Human Cooperation.

This lecture is the 10th Lorna Casselton Memorial Lecture and will be livestreamed for those unable to make it in-person. Admission is free for all but booking is required via the website. Registrations close at 12pm BST on Wednesday 15th May.

His work at DeepMind straddles the boundaries between cognitive psychology, computational and experimental neuroscience and artificial intelligence.
