CreditNature Kicks Off 2025 with Major Investment and Strategic Acquisition
CreditNature has announced a significant funding commitment and a strategic acquisition, marking a promising start to the year. A high-net-worth individual has pledged at least £3 million to kickstart the nature credit market in Scotland over the next 2-3 years. This initiative aims to prove the financial viability of nature restoration projects and attract further institutional investment.
In a move to scale its global impact, CreditNature has acquired ValueNature. Dr. Simon Morgan, ValueNature’s CEO, will join CreditNature as the International Lead, bringing decades of expertise in biodiversity monitoring and conservation technologies.
CreditNature’s team also participated in key events, including the Citizen Zoo Rewilding Futures Conference and the ‘Investing in Scotland’s Nature’ roundtable. These events highlighted the transformative potential of rewilding and the importance of aligning nature-focused investments with profitability.
Looking ahead, CreditNature plans to share updates on their tech platform and ongoing projects, continuing their mission to integrate nature into the economy.
