Property Owner & Tenant Net Zero Workshop
May 14 @ 9:30 am - 1:00 pm
Event Navigation

The Zero Carbon Oxfordshire Partnership is joining forces with Better Buildings Partnership to host a workshop designed to help projects reach their Net Zero goals.
Date: Wednesday 14 May
Time: 09:30 – 13:00
Venue: Satellite Applications Catapult, Harwell Campus
Oxfordshire has over 15 million sq.m of industrial and commercial buildings.
Many of these properties are rented, which creates additional challenges in making progress towards net zero buildings. While both landlords and tenants often share similar net zero ambitions, the split incentive remains a major barrier: building owners covering the costs of energy efficiency upgrades, while tenants benefit from lower energy bills. On top of this, institutional, technical, and legal barriers often slow down or block progress altogether.
The agenda includes:
- Better Buildings Partnership, sharing their Green Lease Toolkit, practical resource designed to help address common obstacles to upgrading rented commercial properties.
- Case studies from owners and tenants
- Insights into market trends, incentives and drivers for taking action
- Networking and knowledge exchange opportunities
This free event is open to Oxfordshire organisations who:
- Own or manage commercial property
- Are leasing commercial or industrial space
