Nature Club – Bee Day for ages 5-9 at the Science Oxford Centre

We’re buzzing about World Bee Day at Nature Club this May! Bees are good for the garden and the planet – join Oxfordshire Beekeepers Association for a ‘hive’ of activities and a honey taste-test. Get creative in the workshop making eco-friendly creations and bee balm with real beeswax to take home. Play bee-rilliantly fun games and learn how to ‘bee sustainable together’, and investigate plants and pollinators outside in the meadow.

World Bee Day is celebrated on May 20th, and highlights protecting bees to ensure global food production, biodiversity, and environmental health.

Sessions:

10AM – 11.30AM

12.30PM – 2PM

3PM – 4.30PM

Suitable for ages 5-9 (child must be accompanied by an adult)

All our activities are designed and led by our expert leaders for adults and children to work together.

What is included in your ticket:

90 minute club session for one child and accompanying adult

Access to:

– Access to the woodland, Water Lab and outdoor areas from 10am–5pm (last entry 4.30pm)

– Cafe 10am – 4pm

– Parking (limited availability)

What is NOT included:

– Access to the Exploration Zone
